Amber's Poem

I prayed to God in Heaven when my Daddy went away, to help me understand and feel better, and I swear I heard Him say;
"Some things you must believe first and then you will see, In life there's death -but we're spirits you and Me."

 "Don't cry, my child, but listen as I tell you what's in store: In Heaven, it's not just about what is' -but instead what is no more'.
As this loss has brought you pain, remember through your tears, it's pain- free up in Heaven; there is no sickness only cures.
The darkness there on earth brings all the things you hate, but no darkness enters Heaven, My child, there's only light beyond the gate.  Know that I created the sunshine and all the things you love, everything of beauty in your life comes from up above.  I even fixed things for you so that you'll never have to die.  I made a way for you to join Me here, in a place you'll never cry.
That's why I sent My Son to earth- that is exactly why He came; you need to simply believe in Him and call upon His name.
Jesus is knocking at your heart's door- listen carefully to His tap I sent Him as your gift- a gift you need only to unwrap. 
Pray with all your heart and ask Jesus to come in; confess that you believe He died on a cross to for all your sin.  Now walk in hope with Me with each step that you take; pray for strength and guidance before you sleep and when you wake.  Remember you have been forgiven- dry your tears, be sad no more.  When your time down here is ended, we will meet at Heaven's door."

When God had finished talking, I was glad I did what He told me to do.  When I prayed just like He asked me, I felt better, then I knew.
Some days would not be easy, but never as hard as before- because I have my Heavenly Father with me, I will walk alone no more.
